Our weekend Masses are a key part of parish life and worship. It is a great joy that we can welcome so many people to take particular roles in Mass to help to make it a beautiful, and smooth running, liturgy.
In scripture we are told:
'Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven'
Matthew 5:16
The Mass is a beautiful time to share our gifts to help others glorify the Lord. There are a variety of roles to be fulfilled by the 'body of Christ' which is the people of the parish. These roles include, but are not limited to; Welcomers, Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers and those leading the Children's Liturgy. To help the church look as beautiful as it does each weekend also requires the fabulous handy work during of two of our parish groups - the team of Cleaners and the Flower Arrangers who get together during the week to work their magic.
Maybe you feel you might be able to help with one or more of these roles in the parish but don't know what it involves or how to start. You will be able to explore each of these further by clicking on the words above or looking on the drop down menu.
